Easy Winter Art Project – Art-cicles
If it is cold enough where you live to do this project, fist of all, Im sorry. We can do this, we will get through this together. Gawd February is long. I have been really down lately, I think mostly because of Winter. The beginning can be magical and beautiful and I am thankful for a break from outside work, but by the end I am really going crazy. Please end!!! I need the sun and warmth!!! On another incredible long, winter day, I broke the monotony with this incredible easy and quick project.
Break out the bundt pans! Seriously, thats all we did.
Bundt pans + water + food coloring + glitter = Beautiful hanging ice sculptures.
We have a cute circle pan and we also have a super cool Star of David bundt pan. I filled them halfway-ish with water, let the girls pick out the food coloring and glitter and then we put them outside to freeze. After a few hours I brought them in, ran some hot water on the bottom, and popped them out. I tied them up on the porch with some twine and ta-da, cute hanging icicle art.
