Garden Map

As many people do, I LOVE maps. They inspire my sense of adventure and make me want to “conquer it all”. And who doesn’t love finding an awesome map inside a book? I recently read The Orchard House, a memoir about a woman whose garden brought her family together and how gardening influenced her life. It is a great book, I recommend it. In the book there is a great map of her family garden and it inspired me to create my own. Our garden space is about 1/3 of an acre and we plan on filling in the entire space. I dream of winding paths, flowers and edibles, everything organized in an enchanted way with kitschy elements. The best part will be enjoying it with the girls and watching them explore and learn from the magic that comes from nurturing the earth.
