Kitchen!

As I said in a previous post, this is one of the areas of the house that I am most nervous about. There is not a lot of space to work with! I do believe the layout we have designed with our contractor is the best possible layout but with keeping a kosher kitchen it doesn’t feel like it will be enough. I think what will save us will be having the utility room right next to the kitchen. There will be a lot of storage in that room where we can place giant packages of food from Costco and kitchen items we don’t use that often. Enough of me being nervous about kitchen space! Let talk finishes!!!

Here are all of my finishes that I have picked out. My taste is craftsman style, with some vintage, rustic farmhouse, and industrial all thrown in there. 

The husband is on board with everything except for the pendant light, he hates it! I have a little while to talk him into it 🙂 Medium grey cabinets, a black island, bright white quartz countertops, inset cabinets, Kitchen Aid appliances, and a shimmery backsplash make up my dream finishes. The faux-wood tile we are putting in is going into the entire first floor of the house, except for the master suite, and will have heating underneath.
