Weight Watchers Week 9
Finally, an update! This past week was the toughest so far but overall the program is going great. Joining Weight Watchers was the right decision, the extra support is amazing, and it is working! I can’t believe it is working!!! When you try everything and fail you doubt that anything will ever work, but Weight Watchers works.
Drum roll…. I am down 21.4 lbs!!!
Things have been happening so fast. The weight has been falling off. This week was slow, making it tough. I had a mini plateau but I still lost so I shouldn’t complain. I expect my weight loss to slow down but this seemed too soon and I was on a roll. Maybe next week I will get my mojo back.
Check out my progress so far!
Nine Weight Watchers Tips I Have Learned in the First Nine Weeks
1. Track everything and be honest. If you don’t want to track it then you shouldn’t have eaten it.
2. Predict how many points you will need for dinner so that you don’t “save” too many for later in the day. This helps you spread your points out evenly during the day, resulting in healthier eating.
3. Change your mindset from ‘how big can I make this tablespoon and still count it as a tablespoon’ to ‘how small can I make this tablespoon and still count it as a tablespoon’.
4. Have food prepared!
5. Don’t let yourself get too hungry but on the other side its ok to be a little hungry and to go to bed hungry.
6. Find healthy ways to satisfy cravings.
7. Keep yourself busy so that you don’t get bored, getting bored leads to snacking.
8. Save weekly flex points for meals out. (Most weeks I don’t use any of my flex points)
9. Before you go out to eat check online to see if the restaurant posts a menu. If yes, then you can plan out what you will order beforehand and calculate points.
