Taking Breaks

We returned to our normal schedule after taking two weeks off. The first week was a planned break. It was an incredibly busy week and I thought it would be easier to take the week off, and I am the boss, so we did. The second week off was an accident. The husband switched jobs and had a few days off in between so we had a staycation. 

Even though we technically took two weeks off we still did a lot of homeschooling activities. A requests to do things we have done during homeschooling because they are fun. Because school is fun! It is proof that I am doing something right!

Even when it is not a school day or week she still wants to do homeschooling activities, she is still playing, we are still reading with her. At almost three she does not really need organized school, it is practice. Playing and reading are all she needs right now. Learning happens all the time, whether you like it or not.
